AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCOME TAX DEDUCTION FOR LONG -
TERM CARE INSURANCE PREMIUMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subparagraph (B) of subdivision (20) of subsection (a) of 1
section 12-701 of the general statutes be amended to provide an income 2
tax deduction for long-term care insurance premiums paid in the 3
taxable year beginning January 1, 2019. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To offset premium increases and allow residents to acquire and retain
long-term care insurance.
