AN ACT REQUIRING MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC ENERGY
COOPERATIVES AND MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC UTILITIES TO SEEK
RECOVERY OF CERTAIN LEGAL COSTS AND EXPENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require municipal electric 1
energy cooperatives and municipal electric utilities to seek recovery of 2
legal costs and expenses incurred in the criminal defense of their 3
employees and directors where such employees or directors are found 4
criminally culpable. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require municipal electric energy cooperatives and municipal
electric utilities to seek recovery of certain legal costs and expenses.
