AN ACT INCREASING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR
GRANDPARENTS AND OTHER NONPARENT RELATIVES WHO ARE
RAISING NEEDY CHILDREN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-112 of the general statutes be amended to provide a 1
temporary family assistance stipend for grandparents and other 2
nonparent relatives raising needy children. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To reduce the financial burden on grandparents and others raising
needy children.
