AN ACT PERMANENTLY PROHIBITING THE STORAGE AND
DISPOSAL OF HYDRAULIC FRACTURING AND NATURAL GAS AND
OIL EXTRACTION WASTES IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 22a-472 of the general statutes be amended to 1
permanently prohibit the storage and disposal of hydraulic fracturing 2
and natural gas and oil extraction wastes in the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To permanently prohibit the storage and disposal of hydraulic
fracturing and natural gas and oil extraction wastes in the state.
