AN ACT CONCERNING MEDICAID COVERAGE OF TELEHEALTH
SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-245e of the general statutes be amended to require 1
the Commissioner of Social Services to fully integrate telehealth 2
services into the medical assistance program and to seek any federal 3
approval necessary to reimburse telehealth providers. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To improve cost-efficient health outcomes for Medicaid clients by
covering telehealth services.
