AN ACT PROHIBITING NURSING HOMES AND ASSISTED LIVING
FACILITIES FROM REQUIRING A THIRD -PARTY GUARANTOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That titles 17b and 19a of the general statutes be amended to 1
prohibit nursing home and assisted living facilities from requiring a 2
third-party guarantor of payment as a condition of admission. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To improve the admission process for nursing homes and assisted
living facilities.
