AN ACT CONCERNING PAYMENT PARITY FOR CERTAIN
ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require (1) an assessment of 1
whether there is parity in state payment rates per client in programs, 2
including, but not limited to, United Services and Homeless 3
Hospitality, in all areas of the state, and (2) that a report on the 4
assessment be filed in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a 5
of the general statutes with the joint standing committees of the 6
General Assembly having cog nizance of matters relating to 7
appropriations and the budgets of state agencies, housing, human 8
services and public health. 9
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure there is parity in per client payments statewide for programs
including, but not limited to, United Services and Homeless
Hospitality.
