AN ACT REQUIRING THIS STATE TO APPLY FOR A STATE
INNOVATION WAIVER TO ESTABLISH A REINSURANCE POOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require this state 1
to apply for a waiver from the federal government pursuant to 42 USC 2
18052 that, if granted, would permit this state to establish a 3
reinsurance pool. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require this state to apply for a state innovation waiver to establish
a reinsurance pool.
