AN ACT REQUIRING CERTAIN HEALTH CARRIERS TO OFFER
QUALIFIED HEALTH PLANS THROUGH THE CONNECTICUT HEALTH
INSURANCE EXCHANGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require each 1
health carrier that delivers, issues for delivery, renews, amends or 2
continues a health insurance policy in this state to offer a qualified 3
health plan through the exchange established pursuant to section 38a-4
1081 of the general statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require each health carrier that delivers, issues for delivery, renews,
amends or continues a health insurance policy in this state to offer a
qualified health plan through the Connecticut Health Insurance
Exchange.
