AN ACT REQUIRING THE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER TO CONSIDER AFFORDABILITY IN REVIEWING HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUM RATE FILINGS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That sections 38a-481 and 38a-513 of the general statutes be 1 amended to require the Insurance Commissioner to consider 2 affordability in reviewing health insurance premium rate filings. 3 Statement of Purpose: To require the Insurance Commissioner to consider affordability in reviewing health insurance premium rate filings.
