AN ACT CONCERNING COMPENSATION PAID BY PHARMACY
BENEFITS MANAGERS TO PHARMACIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require that each 1
pharmacy benefits manager establish a uniform rate of compensation 2
for each prescription drug covered by a prescription drug benefit 3
administered by such pharmacy benefits manager, and pay 4
compensation to all pharmacies that fill a prescription for such drug 5
according to such uniform rate. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To require that each pharmacy benefits manager establish a uniform
rate of compensation for each prescription drug covered by a
prescription drug benefit administered by such pharmacy benefits
manager, and pay compensation to all pharmacies that fill a
prescription for such drug according to such uniform rate.
