1818 AN ACT RECONSTITUTING THE TASK FORCE TO IMPROVE
1919 ACCESS TO LEGAL COUNSEL IN CIVIL MATTERS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the task force to improve access to legal counsel in civil matters 1
2424 be reconstituted for purposes of issuing a report to the joint standing 2
2525 committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 3
2626 relating to the judiciary. The report shall examine the feasibility of 4
2727 establishing a program that provides legal services to individuals in 5
2828 civil matters. The report shall include an in-depth study containing 6
2929 specific guidelines and recommendations addressing the cost of 7
3030 implementation of such program, how to identify eligible program 8
3131 participants, services that would be available under the program and 9
3232 the policy reasons supporting the recommendations. 10
