AN ACT CONCERNING A CLEAN SLATE THROUGH ERASURE OF
CERTAIN CRIMINAL RECORDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 54-142a of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
for the automatic erasure of criminal records for misdemeanors and 2
nonviolent felony offenses after a certain period of time. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for the automatic erasure of criminal records for
misdemeanors and nonviolent felony offenses after a certain period of
time.
