| 26 | 26 | | That the general statutes be amended to (1) raise the minimum age 1 |

| 27 | 27 | | for the purchase and possession of an electronic nicotine delivery 2 |

| 28 | 28 | | system or vapor product from eighteen to twenty-one, (2) require any 3 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | holder of an electronic nicotine delivery system certificate of dealer 4 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | registration to display, in a prominent location adjacent to the 5 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | electronic nicotine delivery systems or vapor products offered for sale 6 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | by such holder, a sign warning persons of the health risks associated 7 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | with using such systems and products, including, but not limited to, 8 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | the risk of addiction, respiratory ailments and damage to developing 9 |

| 35 | 35 | | brains and other organs, (3) impose an excise tax on the sale of 10 |

| 36 | 36 | | electronic nicotine delivery systems and vapor products, (4) increase 11 |

| 37 | 37 | | the fee for obtaining an electronic nicotine delivery system certificate 12 |

| 38 | 38 | | of dealer registration, (5) increase the fine for the first offense of selling, 13 |

| 39 | 39 | | giving or providing an electronic nicotine delivery system or vapor 14 |
