AN ACT CONCERNING THE ENACTMENT OF NEW MUNICIPAL
MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 2-32b of the general statutes be amended to require any 1
bill creating or enlarging a state mandate to local governments be 2
approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the members of each 3
chamber of the General Assembly. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require new municipal mandates to be approved by at least two-
thirds of the members of the House and Senate.
