1818 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE ON THE NEEDS OF
1919 PERSONS WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That a task force be established to (1) study the short-term and long-1
2424 term needs of adults with intellectual disability, including, but not 2
2525 limited to, such adults with significant behavioral health issues or 3
2626 significant issues related to aging, including Alzheimer's disease, 4
2727 dementia and related disorders, (2) determine ways in which the 5
2828 services and support such adults need may be provided, and (3) 6
2929 submit a report on its findings and recommendations in accordance 7
3030 with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes not later 8
3131 than January 1, 2020, to the joint standing committee of the General 9
3232 Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public health. 10
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To establish a task force to study the needs of persons with intellectual
3535 disability and give it sufficient time to issue a report.
