AN ACT CONCERNING ENHANCEMENT OF OPERATIONS OF THE
DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to (1) require the 1
Commissioner of Developmental Services to develop a strategic plan 2
to ease the wait time for services, (2) require the Secretary of the Office 3
of Policy and Management to consult with stakeholders on a plan to 4
close facilities operated by the department, and (3) require advance 5
notice when eligibility for state-assisted care of an individual with 6
intellectual disability will expire. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To enhance operations of the Department of Developmental Services.
