AN ACT CONCERNING THE CLOSING OF A REHABILITATION
CENTER OR NURSING HOME FACILITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require a public hearing 1
with opportunity for public comment, both written and in person, for 2
any member of the general public prior to the closing of a 3
rehabilitation center or nursing home facility and that the town 4
attorney of a town in which a rehabilitation center or nursing home 5
facility is located has standing to address in a court proceeding related 6
to the closing of a rehabilitation center or nursing home facility. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To allow for public input prior to the closing of a rehabilitation center
or nursing home facility.
