AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF
HOSPICE CARE IN SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Public Health to study means of ensuring that the 2
provision of hospice care services in skilled nursing facilities is similar 3
in quality to the provision of hospice care services in hospice facilities. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To identify means to provide hospice care in skilled nursing facilities
that is similar to the hospice care provided in hospice facilities.
