AN ACT DEFINING SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER AS A DISEASE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to redefine substance use 1
disorder as a disease. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To increase public and private resources to fight the drug and alcohol
addiction epidemic in Connecticut.
