AN ACT PERMITTING THE OPERATION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN
HIGH-OCCUPANCY VEHICLE LANES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit the operation of 1
electric vehicles in high-occupancy vehicle lanes regardless of the 2
number of occupants in such vehicles. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To encourage the use of electric vehicles and to aid in the reduction of
emissions.
