AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF DRUG TREATMENT SERVICES AT CORRECTIONAL FACILITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That chapter 325 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1 Commissioner of Correction to: (1) Increase bed capacity at 2 correctional facilities that offer drug treatment services, and (2) 3 develop and implement policies that minimize the time an inmate has 4 to wait for drug treatment services upon discharge from a correctional 5 facility. 6 Statement of Purpose: To minimize the disruption of timely drug treatment services to inmates suffering from drug addiction.
