AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A CANOPY COVERING THE PLATFORM AT THE
TALMADGE HILL TRAIN STATION IN NEW CANAAN.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
___ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid for the 5
construction of a canopy covering the platform at the Talmadge Hill 6
Train Station in New Canaan. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the construction of a canopy covering the
platform at the Talmadge Hill Train Station in New Canaan.
