1919 AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR BUSINESSES THAT
2020 OFFER STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT TO GRADUATES OF

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2424 Assembly convened:

2626 That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for 1
2727 businesses that provide student loan repayment assistance to 2
2828 employees who earned their bachelor's degree, associate degree or 3
2929 certificate from a public institution of higher education, independent 4
3030 nonprofit institution of higher education or private occupational 5
3131 school in the state. 6
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To establish a tax credit for businesses that provide student loan
3434 repayment assistance to graduates of institutions of higher education
3535 and private occupational schools in the state.
