1818 AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO A COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
1919 COUNSELING PROGRAM.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require the State 1
2424 Board of Education, in consultation with the Connecticut School 2
2525 Counselor Association, to adopt guidelines and recommendations that 3
2626 ensure that all students have access to a comprehensive school 4
2727 counseling program that includes manufacturing, trade, academic, 5
2828 social-emotional and post-secondary and career readiness 6
2929 programming delivered by a certified school counselor who has 7
3030 received adequate training. 8
3131 Statement of Purpose:
3232 To provide students with access to a comprehensive school counseling
3333 program.
