AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR
SERVICE ANIMALS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require health 1
insurance coverage for each service animal that is annually registered 2
with, or certified by, this state or the municipality where such service 3
animal is kept. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To require health insurance coverage for each service animal that is
annually registered with, or certified by, this state or the municipality
where such service animal is kept.
