1818 AN ACT CONCERNING A TASK FORCE TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM.
1919 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2020 Assembly convened:

2222 That the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to 1
2323 oversee an analysis determining to what extent individuals currently 2
2424 or recently under state criminal justice supervision have longer stays in 3
2525 correctional settings or are at high-risk of recidivism due to their 4
2626 homelessness or health and behavioral health needs, to examine state 5
2727 criminal justice, health and behavioral health and homelessness 6
2828 datasets to identify individuals who could be successfully released and 7
2929 reintegrated in the community through targeted interventions that 8
3030 address housing, treatment, health and service needs, and to provide a 9
3131 set of recommendations on ways that existing state resources could be 10
3232 reinvested to finance these interventions. 11
