AN ACT ASSISTING FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WORKERS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to allow and require the Labor 1 
Department to assist federal employees who are either furloughed or 2 
forced to work without pay with compensation through the 3 
Unemployment Insurance Fund. Reimbursement would be made to 4 
the fund when the employees are made whole when the shutdown of 5 
their section of the federal government is ended and they are paid for 6 
past-due wages. 7 
Statement of Purpose:   
To allow and require the Labor Department to assist federal employees 
who are either furloughed or forced to work without pay during the 
federal government shutdown.
