AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MAXIMUM PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS
OF MUNICIPAL BLIGHT REGULATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 7-148 of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1
cap on the sum total of a civil penalty that a municipality may assess to 2
the owner of a blighted property. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a cap on the sum total of a civil penalty that a municipality
may assess to the owner of a blighted property.
