AN ACT REQUIRING PUBLIC HEARINGS ON GROUP HOME
APPLICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that when an 1
application for a new group home is filed, the planning and zoning 2
commission in the municipality in which the group home is to be 3
located shall conduct a public hearing on such application prior to 4
issuing a final approval. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require public hearings on applications for new group homes.
