AN ACT PERMITTING CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES TO REDUCE
MINIMUM BUDGET REQUIREMENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 10-262j of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1
municipality to reduce its budgeted appropriation for education if 2
such municipality has experienced an increase in self-insurer health 3
care expenditures. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a municipality to reduce its budgeted appropriation for
education if such municipality has experienced an increase in self-
insurer health care expenditures.
