AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO ORIGINAL BIRTH RECORDS BY
ADULT ADOPTED PERSONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (c) of section 7-53 of the general statutes be 1
amended to permit all adopted individuals and such individuals' 2
children and grandchildren, to obtain uncertified copies of such 3
individuals' original birth certificates. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To permit all adopted individuals and such individuals' children and
grandchildren, to obtain uncertified copies of such individuals'
original birth certificates.
