AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF LOCAL ARTS
DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 7 of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
municipalities to establish local arts districts in which the state sales 2
tax is waived. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To promote the growth of the arts by permitting municipalities to
establish local arts districts in which the state sales tax is waived.
