AN ACT ENCOURAGING REGIONAL COOPERATION BETWEEN
SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow local towns to act as 1
and be regarded as a local education agency in order to maximize 2
efficiencies without becoming a regional school district. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To allow towns to act and be regarded as a local education agency for
purposes of regional cooperation.
