AN ACT ALLOWING THE CREATION OF A RESERVE FUND FOR
PAYMENT OF EMPLOYEE SICK LEAVE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 31 of the general statutes be amended to allow the creation 1
of a reserve fund, funded by voluntary employee contributions and a 2
voluntary employer match, to be used for compensation during 3
unpaid sick leave and which may be transferred by an employee to a 4
new employer. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To allow employees to save funds to use during unpaid sick leave,
with a possible employer match.
