AN ACT PROHIBITING SMOKING AT CERTAIN PRIVATE, NONPROFIT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH FACILITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to prohibit smoking and the 1 use of tobacco products at any location, other than a state building, 2 where a program is operated by private, nonprofit behavioral health 3 agency that has a contract with the state. 4 Statement of Purpose: To extend the smoking ban to private, nonprofit behavioral health facilities that are funded by or have a contact with the state.
