AN ACT CONCERNING STATE FUNDING FOR SCHOOL
REMEDIATION OF INDOOR HEALTH EMERGENCIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 173 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
school building project grants to towns for the construction of new 2
facilities or renovation of existing facilities to remediate mold 3
outbreaks and the conditions that foster mold outbreaks, and to 4
authorize the Commissioner of Administrative Services to waive the 5
certified school indoor air quality emergencies requirement as 6
necessary. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide school building project grants to build new schools or
renovate existing schools to remediate mold outbreaks.
