AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE REPAIR OF
THE BRIDGE CROSSING THE HOP RIVER BETWEEN COVENTRY
AND COLUMBIA.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
five hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by 4
the Department of Transportation for the purpose of repairing or 5
replacing the vehicular bridge crossing the Hop River between the 6
towns of Coventry and Columbia. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the repair or replacement of the bridge crossing
the Hop River between the towns of Coventry and Columbia.
