23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |
24 | 24 | Assembly convened: | |

26 | 26 | That section 9-7a of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1 | |
27 | 27 | (1) the State Elections Enforcement Commission shall (A) establish a 2 | |
28 | 28 | dormancy docket consisting of any complaint or enforcement action 3 | |
29 | 29 | that has not been acted upon in a certain amount of time, and (B) 4 | |
30 | 30 | prescribe the timeline and procedures for review of any such 5 | |
31 | 31 | complaint or enforcement action for dismissal due to such inaction, 6 | |
32 | 32 | and (2) the respondent or respondents to any such complaint or 7 | |
33 | 33 | enforcement action may bring an interlocutory appeal to the Superior 8 | |
34 | 34 | Court if such complaint or enforcement action has been ongoing for 9 | |
35 | 35 | two years and no hearing thereon has been held. 10 | |
