AN ACT CONCERNING NOTICE TO EMPLOYERS REGARDING 
UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION CLAIMS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That the general statutes be amended to allow employers fourteen 1 
business days to respond to a notice from the Labor Department that 2 
an employee has filed for unemployment benefits. 3 
Statement of Purpose:   
To provide adequate notice to employers when an employee files for 
unemployment compensation benefits.
