2019 AN ACT CONCERNING TH E DELIVERY FORMAT OF C OMMUNITY

2221 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2322 Assembly convened:

2524 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) Each community antenna 1
2625 television company and certified competitive video service provider, 2
2726 as those terms are defined in section 16-1 of the general statutes, 3
2827 operating in the state shall deliver to each of its subscribers any 4
2928 community access programming in the same format as the primary 5
3029 local broadcast signals each such subscriber receives, including, but 6
3130 not limited to, high definition format, provided (1) such community 7
3231 access programming is delivered to a community antenna television 8
3332 company or certified competitive video service provider in such 9
3433 format, and (2) this section shall not require a community antenna 10
3534 television company or certified competitive video service provider to 11
3635 upgrade the equipment of any community access programming 12
3736 provider. 13
3837 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
3938 sections:
