AN ACT INCREASING THE IMPACT OF SPEEDING ON MOTOR
VEHICLE LIABILITY AND PHYSICAL DAMAGE INSURANCE
PREMIUMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 38a-686 of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
that a surcharge shall be imposed on motor vehicle liability or physical 2
damage insurance premiums for all instances of speeding in violation 3
of section 14-219 of the general statutes. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To impose a surcharge on motor vehicle liability or physical damage
insurance premiums for all instances of speeding.
