AN ACT ESTABLISHING A PENALTY FOR DRIVING A MOTOR VEHICLE THAT HAS FAILED A SAFETY INSPECTION. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (g) of section 14-12 of the general statutes be 1 amended to establish a penalty for driving a motor vehicle that has 2 failed a safety inspection conducted pursuant to said section. 3 Statement of Purpose: To reduce the amount of unsafe vehicles on the road and promote compliance with laws concerning motor vehicle safety.
