AN ACT CONCERNING OPEN REST AREAS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 13a-123 of the general statutes be amended to require 1
the Commissioner of Transportation to open and maintain rest areas 2
twenty-four hours a day. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Commissioner of Transportation open rest areas
twenty-four hours a day to welcome visitors to the state and allow
truck drivers to take federally mandated breaks.
