AN ACT PREVENTING OVERTIME PAYMENTS FROM BEING USED
TO CALCULATE THE RETIREMENT INCOME OF STATE
EMPLOYEES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 66 of the general statutes be amended to exclude 1
payments of overtime from the calculation of base salary for purposes 2
of determining state employees' retirement income. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit the calculation of a state employee's pension from
including overtime pay.
