AN ACT CONCERNING A PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES FOR
IMPROVEMENTS MADE AT THE STATE PIER IN NEW LONDON.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the state to increase 1
payments in lieu of taxes to the city of New London to account for 2
improvements made to the state pier. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To offset the loss in tax revenue from improvements to the state pier in
the city of New London.
