AN ACT REQUIRING EDUCATION COST SHARING GRANTS BE PAID
DIRECTLY TO THE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR AN ALLIANCE
DISTRICT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That sections 10-262i and 10-262u of the general statutes be 1
amended to require that equalization aid grants are paid directly the 2
local or regional board of education for a town designated as an 3
alliance district. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that there is a method for the boards of education for
alliance districts to receive their education cost sharing grant funds.
