AN ACT CONCERNING THE TEACHING OF CERTIFIED NURSING
ASSISTANT PROGRAMS AT PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That chapter 166 of the general statutes be amended to permit 1
individuals who are otherwise qualified to teach certified nursing 2
assistant programs at technical education and career schools to teach 3
such programs at public high schools under the jurisdiction of a local 4
or regional board of education. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To resolve the disparity between the certification requirements for
teaching certified nursing assistant programs at technical education
and career schools and comprehensive high schools.
