22 | 22 | That section 10-16l of the general statutes be amended to permit a 1 | |
23 | 23 | local or regional board of education to establish for any school year a 2 | |
24 | 24 | firm graduation date for students in grade twelve for that school year 3 | |
25 | 25 | which at the time of such establishment provides for at least one 4 | |
26 | 26 | hundred eighty days of school, and to eliminate the requirement that 5 | |
27 | 27 | such board establish a firm graduation date that is no earlier than the 6 | |
28 | 28 | one hundred eighty-fifth date noted in the school calendar originally 7 | |
29 | 29 | adopted by the board. 8 | |
