20 | 20 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General | |

23 | 23 | That title 12 and chapter 420f of the general statutes be amended to 1 | |
24 | 24 | provide for changes to the palliative use of marijuana program, 2 | |
25 | 25 | including, but not limited to, an exemption for medical marijuana from 3 | |
26 | 26 | the sales tax, the addition of chronic pain as a qualifying condition, the 4 | |
27 | 27 | reduction in the annual medical marijuana patient fee to fifty dollars, 5 | |
28 | 28 | the elimination of the twenty-five-dollar registration fee for veterans 6 | |
29 | 29 | who have a primary caregiver and that the general statutes be 7 | |
30 | 30 | amended to establish, tax and regulate a recreational use of marijuana 8 | |
31 | 31 | program for adults twenty-one years of age or older. 9 | |
